Back on the horse

You may have noticed that there has been a long drink in between posts at The Sanchovi. I’d like to apologize for that. You see, I under estimated how difficult it would be to come back from a 10 month trip overseas and just pick up where I left off. To cut a long story short, it doesn’t work like that at all. It’s lucky I came to the early realization that it’s ok to make mistakes (as long as you learn something from them) and sometimes you have to take one step back to take two steps forwards. I’m glad to be back in Melbourne, Australia. I’m also glad to have full access to the internet. Only accessing it by phone for 2 months was no fun at all! My trip taught me a lot of things and I am looking forward to a productive 2011. I have a few projects on the drawing board so keep your eyes on the blog for more than photos next year! So you have my word that The Sanchovi will have regular updates from my photographic adventures.

It’s about time someone made a stylish camera bag for the ladies. Nevis is a handmade, full-grain leather DSLR camera bag made specially for women. The bag offers style and function at the same time, it can hold a camera, up to three lenses and a few personal items. Available in black and brown.

One of my worst travel related fears has become a reality. The power button on my MacBook pro has broken in a country where Apple popularity is on par with cleaning your ears with sandpaper. It looks like the posts will slow right down until I hit Vancouver in late January. From what I hear, Apple repairs are sent to Singapore and we all know that the Christmas season usually adds at least a few weeks to anything that is related to shipping to another country.
