You’re ganna need a bigger boat
I spent the other day wandering around Oceanside Pier. It’s quite a popular fishing spot and the fact that there’s a Ruby’s Diner waiting for you at the end helps boost it’s popularity as well!
San Diego Zoo
I was lucky enough to head to the San Diego zoo the other day. I had heard good things about it from friends who had previously visited it and it didn’t disappoint. The place was huge!
I took lots of photos on the day but the combination of my 75-300mm lens and the low light conditions resulted in a lot of blurry photo. Oh well, I guess you live and you learn. Here are the shots that made the cut.
It’s good to have mates
About a month ago I received a second hand Canon 20D from my mate Shain. He does a lot of wildlife photography and I get the feeling that the camera is somewhat possessed by some type of wildlife photographing spirit. It could also be because my other mate Alex donated his old “perv lens” to me. Whatever the reason, I’m finding out that wildlife photography is more challenging than I thought. Sometimes I wish animals would just slow down and chill out while I take their photo. It’s ok to feed animals Valium right?
